Fléché Allemand Creator is an intuitive web application designed by Guillaume L. to easily generate German-style route markers from an interactive route map. It is aimed at organisers, cartographers and users wishing to produce clear, professional route markers for educational, sporting or tourist purposes.

The user experience is structured in four steps:

Drawing the route – The user traces their route directly on the interactive map by clicking to define the successive points along the route. Options for selecting the type of terrain (town, countryside, forest) optimise the detection of junctions for an accurate result.

Validating junctions – The tool automatically identifies the junction points on the route and prompts the user to validate them. The user confirms or adjusts each point to ensure the route is accurate. Similarly, if any waypoints need to be added, this is the stage at which they do so.

Generating and customising the route marker – The system automatically generates the route marker. The user can then edit the visual elements of the route signage (text, size, font, colour) to ensure the final output meets their communication or printing requirements.

Export and save – Once finalised, the route signage can be exported in PNG format or saved as a reusable project, thereby facilitating documentation and sharing.
